One-Day Introduction to Stained Glass
A gentle yet hands-on introduction to the world of stained glass. This one-day session is perfect for curious beginners who want to experience the craft before committing to a full course.

• Health & Safety: How to safely handle glass, lead, solder, flux, and essential workshop tools.
• Materials: An introduction to glass types, lead came, and copper foil—including their uses and structural considerations.
• Tools Overview: A guided introduction to the core tools you’ll use, such as cutters, grinders, soldering irons, and light tables.
• Pattern Creation: How to design a simple pattern, plan its structure, and understand the practical considerations for stained glass work.
• Practice Session: Guided cutting practice, including arcs, textured glass, lead came techniques, and copper foil application.

We will aim to create a six-piece item with lead as your finished piece for the day.

• €130 per student for two.

Daily sessions from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a break for lunch. Tea, juice, and other refreshments provided.
Three-Day Stained Glass Course
A deeper creative experience ideal for those who want to design and complete their first full stained glass project. This course is crafted to balance skill-building with hands-on making.

Day One provides the same core foundations covered in the One-Day Introduction course, including health and safety, materials, tools, and guided cutting practice. These essentials set you up with the skills and confidence you’ll need to begin creating your own stained glass piece over the following two days.
—Days 2 & 3
Continue creating your stained glass piece with focused, hands-on guidance at each stage. Over these two days, you’ll refine your cutting, assembling, soldering, and finishing techniques, with personalised support throughout.
By the end of Day Three, you will complete one finished stained glass piece to take home.

• One lead came piece (approx. 50 × 30 cm), or
• One Tiffany copper foil piece (approx. 30 × 20 cm).

• €190/day for one student (€570 total).
• €170/day for two students (€510 per student).

Flexible Scheduling: Choose consecutive days or spread your sessions across different dates—your learning outcome remains the same.
Five-Day Stained Glass Course
Designed for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the craft. Over five restorative days, you’ll design and create multiple stained glass pieces using both traditional lead came and the Tiffany copper foil method.

Day One provides the same core foundations covered in the One-Day Introduction course, including health and safety, materials, tools, and guided cutting practice. These essentials set you up with the skills and confidence you’ll need to begin creating your own stained glass piece over the following days.
—Days 2 to 5
Continue creating your stained glass piece with focused, hands-on guidance at each stage. Across these four days, you’ll refine your cutting, assembling, soldering, and finishing techniques as you work on both a lead came piece and a Tiffany copper foil piece, with personalised support throughout.
If time permits, you may also begin or complete an additional Tiffany piece.
By the end of Day Five, you will complete two (or three) finished stained glass pieces to take home.

Before Your Course

After Your Course

Return anytime for supervised workshop use at €35/hour, plus materials charged according to usage.
