Bruce’s Alpine Retreat
Bruce lives in Wiltshire in the UK but has a deep love for his Alpine retreat, which he visits at least three times a year. He wanted a keepsake reminder of the view from his chalet when he was back home, so he commissioned this piece from a photograph he had taken on his mobile phone. Capturing the colour balance in a way that felt both true to the scene and visually harmonious in glass was extremely challenging, so I allowed myself a little poetic licence to create a more cohesive composition.

Traditional lead and glass with solder.
