This piece is my tribute to an icon that spans generations. The image itself dates back over 65 years, yet through the medium of stained glass, it’s preserved almost eternally—set boldly against the backdrop of the Union Jack.
At the heart of the design is the unmistakable Rolling Stones tongue—a symbol that became one of the most recognisable emblems in music history. Capturing that tongue in glass without it getting visually lost against the dynamic lines and colours of the flag was a technical challenge I really enjoyed.
It demanded precision, keeping parallel lines tight, and working with fine cuts and subtle tones to make each element stand out without overpowering the others.
It was a pleasure to make—and I hope it speaks to both nostalgia and lasting rebellion.
