Inspired by the Basque and Beyond | Stained Glass Lamp

€0.00

Living on the edge of the Basque region in southwest France, I’m fortunate to be surrounded by extraordinary artistic influence. To the west lies Bilbao, home to the iconic Guggenheim Museum. To the east, Barcelona, with the enduring legacy of Gaudí and Picasso.

Visiting these cities and immersing myself in their artistic traditions—especially their daring use of colour, form, and texture—sparked the inspiration behind this lamp. While its design draws heavily from nature, it also reflects the vibrant creativity I encountered in those museums and architectural landmarks.

This lamp is a reflection of the region’s deep artistic spirit, reinterpreted through my own stained glass practice.

It was a pleasure to make—and I hope it speaks to both nostalgia and lasting rebellion.
